About Riad Carina
Riad Carina was built and decorated in a charming, traditional Berber style — natural stone, burnt bricks, terracotta, clay and wood throughout. At its heart lies a cool, tiled patio with a central water basin, the perfect refuge from the Marrakech sun. Upstairs, cosy guest rooms open onto the patio below, while the flowered roof terrace looks directly onto the ancient walls of El Badi Palace, home to nesting storks all year round. Guests can cool off in the rooftop pool, unwind with a traditional hammam treatment, or simply enjoy mint tea and a home-cooked Moroccan dinner under the open sky. Just five minutes on foot from Djemaa el Fna and the souks of the medina, Riad Carina offers a genuinely quiet, authentic base from which to discover the city.
